The aim of every library is to provide information to its clients. The reference section provides services that help clients make the best use of a library’s resources, and find the information they require quickly and efficiently. The basic purpose of a reference section is to assist clients to access information in the library’s collection and from other sources, and to make the best selection from the collection.
